Youth Families and Communities United, Inc. (YFC United) is a 501 c-3 non-profit organization that has dedicated over 30 years of service to improving lives by engaging individuals in the process of making our families, communities, and the world better for all. We offer an array of programs and special projects that empower, engage, and excite. Through our interactive programming youth and families are provided with the tools to make positive growth and change in their personal lives, homes, and their communities. We take a holistic approach to meeting the needs of youth and families by engaging all sectors of the community.

Sharon Warner has dedicated over 30 years of service to youth and families, with a strong focus on promoting family engagement, positive youth development, resilience, and prevention. With years of experience designing and implementing community and school-based programs, she has worked closely with schools, community organizations, and families to create engaging and supportive environments for everyone. Her work emphasizes the importance of open communication, healthy relationships, and resilience-building strategies that empower both youth and families to navigate life's challenges.
Sharon is passionate about mentoring and youth leadership development, believing that every young person deserves a pathway to success. Through innovative workshops, group mentoring, and evidence-based curricula, these initiatives help youth build confidence, set goals, and make positive choices.
Whether leading parent engagement nights, organizing conferences, summits, or facilitating prevention education, Sharon brings compassion, commitment, and a deep belief in the potential of every person she encounters. She is as a very impactful, energetic guest speaker, workshop/summit presenter, and is an active volunteer with several School Advisory Councils, PTAs, and other community boards.
Staying connected to the community is important to Sharon. She remains very hands-on and connected to each of the programs and projects that she has developed. Whether it is The Positive Youth Development Programs, Family Engagement Programs, The Bead Buffet, etc. she is still out in the community each week making connections.
